Nice shots, Norbert. It's too bad the PF site shows them so dark.

Exceptional shot of a beautiful bird! Quite a beak full it's collected there. :-)
Best.

You've got to be more careful in the field now, the backs of the bears barely emerge out the long grass. Though standing up they're pretty visible...

I went for a drive this afternoon looking for sheep with the K1/Nikon 1000mm f/8 lens monstrosity. I tried exposure bracketing (Accidentally... I assumed it was set to just burst) for the first time. Out of 22 photos I got three... photos of sheep.

800 ISO, 1/640

1600 ISO, 1/40 (shake reduction really pulling its weight there)

1600 ISO, 1/320

I think I see a bit of vignetting... I tested with my Nikon F5 and it was fine, maybe the TC adds some? Anyway I think it's the least of my problems

The second shot is awesome. Good job keeping the lens following the subject as you made the shot. Much better than any static shot.

Thank you. I think the setting, 1/250 f14 turned out well for this shot
