so i went birding the other day and came across way more of these fellas.....reckon it would have been nice to be toting a smaller/lighter lens......sigma 150-500os....k-3ii

Went back to Angel bay to check on the pup. Seems to be doing well. Tamron 65B 400mm f4 + 1.4x tc, K3-ii. Just banged these jpg's out in faststone.

I don't use the Sigma 400mm f5.6 tele macro very often, but it is often fun when I do. These with the KP.

Roberta, one of our resident Grey Shrike-thrush (Colluricincla harmonica)



Galahs (Eolophus roseicapilla). Dark iris is the male; red iris female.




Crimson Rosella (Platycercus elegans), with its green-olive immature plumage. They morph to the crimson, blue and black adult plumage over a period of about 15 months.

Saturday, from the back door. Spotted Dove and several Rainbow Lorikeets (the two with blackish beaks are new youngsters on their first visit).
