Decided I needed some fresh air, so I headed to the nearby Minnesota River to hunt for Trumpeter Swans, but only came across
a flock of ducks. Fortunately, the early morning light was favorable for a few nice captures of these mallards. Shot with the KP and
DA* 300mm f4.0. I used a Kenko 1.5x SHQ Tele-convertor on the shot with the mallard pair. Although it only support MF with this lens,
for relatively static subjects such as these ducks, it works rather well. (At least until I can spring for the DA* 1.4x TC)I really like how
light this combo is, and with the KP, I really don't feel like I need any additional resolution. Please click on the images to view the full size
