Thanks, sorry I didn't mention. Those are all with the K3iii and DA 560
It's a silly lens and honestly doesn't play that well with the K3iii.
The humming bird shots are slow shutter speed, f/16, using remote flashes with the camera aimed and pre-focused just off a feeder. I underexpose the background and let the flashes provide most of the action stopping light.
When using the 560 with the K3iii for fleeting wildlife shots, it has to be on center focus to reliably catch a bird before it abandons its position. With the flicker shot in my prior post, the camera and lens would go on a prolonged search if I tried to move the focal point off center to better position the bird within the frame. This is despite the fact that a flicker is quite a large bird. I think it's wise that they discontinued the 560 line and am hopeful they will come out with a future 500+ lens that is easier to hand hold and can quickly grasp focus when combined with the K3iii. My dream is they'll come up with something similar to the Nikon 500 5.6 PF. That being said, I still love the 560 despite its limitations with any camera body and continue to use it regularly.
