You introduced me to a serow. I never heard of it, nor seen one. Plus, your English is superb!

The carmine bee-eater is a intra African migrant that nests on the ground or in river banks from end of Auguts in our Zambezi region. At that stage they are very colourful, but becomes quite drab when breeding stops. It seems that they are never still and in flight shots just luck, but late afternoon can find them posing for a shot or two

Beautiful shots Basie. The in-flight one is a very impressive capture.

This Common Buzzard landed in a bush that I was parked next to watching a couple of Brambling. Taken with a K3iii/FA*600mm F4 ED[IF]/RRS BH-55/Eckla window mount.

K-3iii/Sigma 800mm F5.6 APO EX/RRS BH-55/Eckla window mount. 1.3 crop switched in.

It was still perched in the bush when I drove off.

A pretty lousy day with overcast sky and occasional snow. So I ended up staying home but a red-tailed hawk and a few feeder birds visited the backyard.
Nothing close to what Gary had but I am pretty happy with the shots. Shot with the F*600/4 and K3-3.

Red-tailed Hawk

House Finch

Northern Cardinal

Welcome, welcome!! You've set a high mark for yourself with the excellence of the first images you've posted. Looking forward to seeing many more
And do not worry or apologize for your English. I've been speaking it all my life and I still do not understand it.
