Very impressed you were able to keep those swallows in the frame let alone in perfect focus gven how unpredictable they are! What auto focus setting did you use?
I am shooting in TAv mode using Back Button Focus.

In the Still Image Settings Menus >

In AF with Viewfinder >

AF Mode > AF.C
AF Active Area > Spot
AF Area Restriction > Off
1st Frame Action in AF.C > Release-priority
Action in AF.C Cont. > Focus-priority
Hold AF Status > Medium
Action When AF Fails > Drive Lens
AF Point Tracking in AF.C > Type 1
Subject Recognition > On

I shot these images from the west side observation deck below the dam at Hoover Reservoir.

The DA560 is back

I’m a happy camper Although my K300/4 and 1.7x AF adaptor did ok, I am glad to have the DA560 back. It had suffered a complete focusing failure. Turn-around was 2 months to Japan and back.

Tried a video with the K-1 + Siggy500/4.5

Sorry for the shake, it was handheld...

They were kind of kissing each other, trimming, or something like that... very special behavior!

Yes, that are quite handsome, with some of the best eyes of the raptors.
Always pleased to find these, especially when perched.

Cheers,
Terry
