A couple of weeks ago I bought a used 12 inch Meade LX200 GPS it's 3048mm.
I'm starting to get the hang of using it.

It's a bit on the weighty side for moving around too much.

I like the little green bird. Looks much like a swallow to my eyes.

Nice. Now I feel bad about my Jupiter at 800mm and Saturn at 800mm images. I really need some bigger glass for planets as the A* 400/2.8 + 2X-L converter really doesn't cut it.

After I bought the scope I found the scopebuggy local to me, so I bought that as well. The whole thing stays set up ready to go in the garage. I can wheel it out of the garage put the 3 legs down and after I have aligned, it it's all set.

I see your images are stacked. Mine are single shots with an Altair 178C camera. I need someone to show me how to use stacking software.

My goldens just want to jump out and swim

I am hoping to make it out tonight for some astro and both Saturn and Jupiter are up so if I do and I don't forget stuff I would be willing to do a write-up on my process for stacking that should get you pointed in the right direction. The software I use is PIPP (Planetary Imaging Pre-Processor), RawTherapee, AutoStakkert! 6, and Hugin. That was my first time somewhat successfully imaging them so I now know how to improve things.

As to the stacking: there is Autostakkert (as well as some other free programs that Mossy's already mentioned) that will do this for you and improve your images considerably using a technique called lucky imaging. Consider joining an astronomy forum (like CloudyNights) to get help with using the software. You're about to venture down the rabbit hole called astrophotography.... May the Force be with you and may you be very fond of technology and optomechanics in particular.
