I post a lot of birds, so here is a change in wildlife from the urban wilds of Toronto

This is 2 of 4 that we saw this morning while out walking the dogs.

Shot with the D-FA150-450 and 1.4x TC cropped heavily on a K1

So many diffferent interesting Oystercatchers, and a great shot of this one.

These juvenile Cooper's Hawks we joined by a third, but I didn't manage to get a shot of the third one.

Today I had a memory pop up on Facebook from 4 years ago of photos I posted of a Great Blue Heron that was at a nearby lake on the Furman University campus. As I looked at them I decided to reedit them. I was able to find the originals on an external hard drive. All were taken with my K1 and Sigma 50-500. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thanks. I seriously love my FA*600mm the sharpness still blows me away. I 'm used to the weight and don't find it a problem to carry it around.
