THIS must be what they mean by photographing light.

Jake,

were the dust sposts intentional? If they were, I love the effect for a black&white or is that more sepia? often my eyes have trouble telling between the two types of shots when they are understated.

Oh, so many images from my 77ltd (and 31 & 43 when I had them.)

Here's are a couple simple snaps of my favorite subject with my favorite all-time
portrait lens, the 77ltd:

Magnificent photos, excellent objective.
Fine color and contrast.

This thread is going to become extremely deadly for those with LBA.

I still have ups and downs with my FA 43mm; some days, I love it, some days, it makes me want to cry.

Dear colleague. On mine an excellent photo. I just plan to buy FA43/1.9. Such photos push me to it all more strongly.

The 43 is my favorite lens. I've concluded that how a lens renders stone and metal - with a sense of aliveness and natural detail - is a good test of excellence. This photo I think has that - click on it as it's worth seeing much larger on the flickr page.

I got the Queen of Limiteds.

This is my first 31mm Limited photo ever posted and is more than a 50% crop of the original photo. I got the lens yesterday to join the rest of the Limiteds and I'm very happy to finaly have it.
