Nice ones emacs, the last certainly has a strong feeling to it.

Haha, well she looked fine until I took the photo and that was exactly when she was getting her camera from her bag and I saw that it was a canon camera and quickly ran away from her

Thank you for the praise. These shots (and this one taken with kit lens: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/1580758-post834.html) are my best portraits actually. I find them superior to any portrait I did after. They were taken in august 2010, it was only second month of my shooting practice. I try to realize why I can't even repeat such a mood. Looks like I care too much about proper composition: it works in case of landscapes but totally sucks when shooting people

downfall, that looks like a Monet painting. exquisite!

simon - the lighting and raindrops are amazing.

emacs - love the portrait.

this is one of the last shots i got with my FA77 before it spontaneously fell apart this week. [ i am having it fixed]. This little fella just walked up to me one early morning and allowed me to take some pics.
