The Blue Angels came to Seattle today (and yesterday, and the day before). Our house is *right* under the flight path, so I stood on the porch with the FA43 and took far too many shots, just hoping for a couple of good ones

Here's one with the 43mm, probably my least used of the trio.

And here's one, taken with the 43mm, of the 31mm in action. Note that the shooter has outfitted his Ltd with a 3rd party hood in an effort to squeeze out as much micro-contrast as the lens can render.

The more I see from you, and from Simon, with the 77 the more convinced I become that I *must* have it. Of course, the photographer is whats working here. Beautiful work, just lovely.

Indeed -- I have the 77 and yet for some reason just owning an inert metal tube with glass in it doesn't make my photos look nearly as good as his! ;-)
