Thank you! That's a friend of mine. And that was a special day. These days happens twice a year in Russia: one in october and one in march.

Actually, here's another look at Centurylink Field. It's the same shot as before, but I've combined it with another exposure where I was lucky enough to capture a firework going off (Sounders must have scored a goal).

Still struggling to really make the FA43 work for me, but here are some efforts from today:

I wouldn't say you're struggling at all judging by these shots. That 1st pic is sublime.. wonderful light! I also like the B&W shot looking down from above.

I sold my DA70 for FA77 primarily for the usage with film bodies. It definetly has some magic to it (not present in the picture though)

Chris, you're really hitting with these - truly impressive compositions. The one below blows me away:

Thanks for the vote of confidence, guys. I do feel like I'm getting a bit better with the 43mm, but there's still quite a disconnect between what I think it's going to produce and what it ends up producing. I took it out again lengthily today, and discovered that for whatever reason... it performs better for me if I shoot in Tv mode -- a rare event for me. I'm getting sharper results in Tv @ f/1.9 than I was in Av @ f/5.6. So strange.

Anyway, here's a series from an alleyway in Pioneer Square here in Seattle:

I spent most of the day on foot dodging successive rain showers downtown, so I took quite a few photos. I'll post some more later, but I wanted to put this particular set up.
