The FA77 really does have a habit of making total snapshots seem like something more. Not claiming this is high art, but a quick snap of a boring subject under crappy light should not result in something so smooth and richly toned.

Mixed feelings about this shot.

Yes, and not far to row out to your yacht moored in the bay there. A lot of great (and expensive) views in that end of town.

.
It was a few years ago and I slept on a mates floor for 6 months. Unfortunately neither of us owned any property there, yachts included.

The FA77 handled itself quite well at the local corn maze today, despite the harsh midday sun! I swear, I will never understand people who are down on this lens:

And because we can't let the 77 can't have all the fun, here, with the 43:

I'm pretty sure an FA77 will find it's way onto my K-5 not too long after a DA15 (or DA12-24) does.. they should simply sell the Limiteds as kits.. FA Ltd' kit for say.. $1700-1900 the DA Ltd's for $1500..

It's been a while since I had a chance to contribute, but this week I shot each poet who read at the Cuisle International Poetry Festival 2011. I'll put a couple examples here and a couple in the POTW thread. I used my K20D at ISO 400 and applied one of my "signature" processes to get this B&W look. The first photo is from the FA43 (at f/2) and the second the FA77 (at f/2.8).
