My 77 got out tonight to get some exercise.

And one that i wasnt completely happy with this last one due to the blown out sky (and wooden posts in the background) but the mother insited this was worthy

Wow, that first one is gorgeous!

don't do test charts, go out, shoot some shots, and adjust focus according to that. A lot depends on the light too!

After doing the same with my 43 and then messing with the AF fine tune.. doing the 45 degree shoot at paper is useless.. you need a FLAT surface (proper focusing screen) and the scale needs to be set on a 45 degree angle beside your flat focal point.. who knows EXACTLY where your AF was reading when you took your "test" shot.

Beautiful results Chaos Realm.

One of Sydney's sights from an unlikely landscape candidate: the FA 43

it seems you do a mighty fine job of cityscapes with it! I've seen some other example used in landscapes that have turned some decent results maybe its a bit of a sleeper here

Nice work Ash!
Yeah the FA43 does a fine job at being a landscape lens, I use it quite often for them-

That's from rehearsal, when it is permissible to crack up every now and then.

I used my FA77 to create a pano from the balcony of my hotel. Check out all the detail it captured - this is even shrunk a little bit to make it fit on my host site.
