I think that if you're a beer lover, a trip to the US would probably be worth it for the microbrews alone. It's really remarkable how far we've come in 20 to 30 years.

Ruthless Rye is definitely one of my new favorites.

For the record, I think the UK has some great brews, too. One of my favorites is the Samuel Smith Yorkshire Stingo.
