Which grads do you guys use? And on APS-C I think stacking a few filter rings would help attach a square filter holder to the FA 31mm limited.

EDIT: Not too sure if you guys meant ND or GND filters...

Like it Chris - I wouldn't be without grads. One with the 31 - unfortunately I can't quite work out how to attach my grads to it.
Thanks, Mark! That was actually with the DA15... accidentally posted it to this thread, whoops.

That's quite a shot of your own there; I love the colors and the soft tones in all that fog you seem to find yourself shooting in all the time. As for using your GNDs on the 31... I have definitely seen discussion on that before:

http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat.asp?forum=1036&message=38047609&changemode=1

Not sure if that link will work because PF blocked outgoing links to DPR last year at some point for a while, but it's basically what gtl says above: break the glass out of a few cheap filters (three I guess), and screw them on in a stack. Cokin filter holder should be able to fit on the last one... Certainly not elegant, but it's a fix.

@gtl -- I picked up a small set of Cokin P-sized Singh-Ray GNDs and like them a lot so far. A 2-stop hard transition, 3-stop soft, and 3-stop reverse GND.

Cheers Chris. I always check the forecast and you can usually predict a dawn mist. At this time of year its a 3am start. Trying different locations along the valley and came here too late if I'm honest. Its been on my list for ages but its probably a better summer dawn location than I realised.

Absolutely amazing shots on this thread! Bickrs, Mark Lj, Deimos and Deadwolfbones those are top rate photography! I just recently acquired the FA 43 limited and i'm not nearly in the same league as the general standard of this thread especially when it comes to portraits! Here are some of my first shots:

Kind of a grab shot on my way to another location, I think I ended up liking this best of all the shots I took this evening. FA43 surprises me with its sharpness on occasion, especially with fine textures like the moss on the rocks:

Haven't really done any waterfall photos before, but I can tell a polarizing filter would be useful. Maybe I should get me one of those...

A pleasure to view as always,

I Picked up a new to me 31 ltd a few weeks ago and haven't really had a chance to shoot (exams coming up )

But I had a family do on Sunday and spotted this outside the restaurant. I think got a little excited with PP but oh well that happens some times.

PS: I might have a few from the event to post with the 31 and 77, If I get permissions first

Great greens and yes the detail in the moss is definitely there.
