Even though it didn't turn out quite the way I would have hoped my buddy still really liked the shot (it's currently his FB profile pic) so I figured I'd share it here as well.

FA 31 f/5.6 with Marumi CP

Somewhat mundane shot, but I really like the colors and the way this lens displays rust.

The filter is fantastic. I'm glad I spent a bit more on a good filter. It's like a whole new lens with the filter. The colors are deep and gorgeous. Well worth the $100.

I have a Marumi CPL in 49mm and it is wonderful. Absolutely no degradation in the sharpness of images and wonderful colours. I should use it more often.

If we're going to have dogs, then you know we're going to have cats... (K-01+31, f/2, iso 3200).

I think that I prefer to use the 31 on the K-01 than on the K-5, because I find it easier to nail focus.

From a morning hike in a local park. There are these ferns that `print' their pollen when pressed (on a cheek, for example). (FA 31, processed in Nik Analog efex)
