I've actually been using the FA43 quite a bit more now that it has the DA40 hood with film canister as cap (necessary). it makes it quite more enjoyable.

i was playing with my cactus v4. nothing too special about this picture, and it would have probably came out the same with any other lens, but it was an FA43 I thought it came out pretty cool.

above was a table in my house. i came to a realization cause i always thought you had to be in exotic places to get good images, but you just need to be a little creative. (or have exotic furniture ).

.

f/2.2, f/1.8:

f/3.5

f/4.5 cropped a bit - stop this lens down a tad and it just becomes technically
masterful:

Here are some examples from my one and only FA limited--my 43.

These were shot with my ZX-M film body...

If money were no object, I'd have the whole FA limited trio.

Hi Heather, every time I use my 43, I thank you for it. It's one of my all time favs. I see that you got "sellers remorse" and got another 43!

Yes it is Daytona--this is the Tropical Winds Resort (Tropical Winds Resort Hotel). While it wasn't our first trip to Daytona, it was our first time staying at this place and we loved it. We had an oceanfront room that was great and the staff were great too. Next time we go, we're definitely planning on staying there again.

I'm glad you're enjoying my original FA43 so much! While I enjoyed the DA35 that originally replaced the FA43, I got to missing the 43 so much that I had to get another one. Of course, since then I've gotten a film body, which makes this 43 an even smarter purchase.

With the exception of the DFA100 for some of my macro shots, I used mostly zooms (the Sigma 17-70) on this last vacation, but I'm kind of missing using the primes. I'm going to need to figure out a good time to go out and shoot with them soon.
