I have no isuse, everybody has different tastes and preferences and I prefer 100 time we discuss this than taking the risk of missing an opportunity to progress.
If you permit me to comment, I'd say your version is heavy on blue and a bit on green. This is not my screen as on the original image the window on the left as a RGB code of 254, 254, 254 meaning almost pure white with no cast at all... While your corrected one as a RGB value of 206, 222, 255, so an heavy cast on blue, and medium on on greens.
This is not a scene where 1 global setting will give a perfect white balance on all part of the picture. So that's not easy. I prefer oveall my version than yours, but for sure the dress is quite a bit yellow on mine. Maybe something in between would give the best results?
In fact, the one with the flash look the best in term of tones. There still a bit of cast, it keep overall the ambiant colors of the room that was quite warm but remove a big part of it on the dress and skin tone and I prefer that lighting overall. You can correct it much more easily for an interresting result.
Note to self: use flash even more and improve on it !
