Great work on here recently. It has been awhile for me. Was shooting mostly with a GR for awhile (GREAT camera)...here is a photo I revisited from last year. Missed the focus a bit but I think I salvaged it.

My family and I took a week-long vacation and as an `experiment', I went with K5+FA43 as my only camera/lens. Below are some of the photos (the rest will be added here). I almost never missed having something longer or wider - the fov of the 43 on aps-c suits me quite well (and cropping, as in the first image below, gives a little extra tele).

Great shots!

Especially love the colour and bokeh on the 2nd shot. And that B&W shot is just like, "Wow!"

I simply love the focal length of the FA43 on APS-C; a short tele, excellent for a "closeup perspective" of the world.

And the added flexibility is that it serves as 'normal' on FF.

Thank you..! I think that it is my favorite lens, (though the 77 has perhaps more sublime rendering).

Yeah, the 43 is my favourite too.

All things being equal, and for the same amount of shooting effort, I would describe the 77 as giving a slightly more polished, "classy" look - that is its nature. Whereas the 43 gives a "closer-to-reality" look, but again, with its own unique rendering flavour. I love them both!

Each time I think about the GR, the lack of evf holds me back. Do you ever miss a viewfinder when you use it? (I know, off topic...)

Thanks! Lots of great color in your shot and strong character in that face.

Not at all,on the contrary I rarely even look at the LCD when using it, on the street I often turn it off. Snap focus is amazing. Highly croppable. The lens is amazing (Limited quality, peak sharp from f2.8-5.6). It really does fit into a pocket, great jpegs, amazing b&w conversions...highly recommended. A camera for when you just want to have it with you and take photos, a world where rules dont apply Tons of fun.
