Lovely lady and great photos. I like the flare one, I do those a bit myself.
Thanks Matt. I usually go for the flare look with the Helios.

Went to an "art show" by Nathan Sawaya at the Museum Center in Cincinnati -- I guess that's what you'd call it. He calls it Art of the Brick. Anyway, a few shots with the FA 31 limited there.

Convinced Betty to show up at the beach for a sunrise shoot. She agreed that it was worth it.

Another shot with Jennifer.

LeRolls, great shot. Did you use off camera flash for this shot and a light modifier?

Thanks. Yes, I used a flash with a Lightsphere modifier. Works a charm most of the time.

FA 31 does Christmas

Attached are a few close ups of Christmas tree decorations. All were taken with a wide open (or nearly wide open) aperture using my K5IIs with my FA 31mm lens on it.

All shots were handheld. I used a fixed shutter speed of 1/100th, and an ISO of 1600.

Minimal post processing was done - just resizing, 3 pixel border, and light sharpening.

I just adore the 31's bokeh and colors!! Every time I shoot it I ask myself, "self, do I really need any other lens? This lens is just about perfect!"
