All 3 are great.. FA31 wins for me in this case.

What camera was used and was it the same camera in all 3 cases?

cheers

Neil
Thanks Neil. All three were taken with the K-7 at ISO 400 within a few minutes of each other. The most interesting thing to me was how different the color is rendered by each lens (I'm assuming the light didn't change between shots, although it's possible.) The FA31 and 43 seem to be pretty similar, while the FA77 is more subdued and smooth -- maybe this was done by design so it's better for skin tones?

Yes I agree with what you say about the FA77.. and man that bokeh looks great . Interesting as well that the FA43 wide open does not appear so soft in comparison.

I would like to have see all 3 maybe at f4 to see IQ comparisons.. as you know the FA43 shines at that focal length.

Again thanks for putting this up... great work

Cheers

Neil

I like the last one, but would have liked it even more would it be focused on the camera and not on the face...

Just gave into LBA and purchased the FA43 from another user on the board. Anticipating some good summer photo ops with the new guy.

Hopefully i'll gain some courage to post some pics!

I promise you this, you are going to love it. It's a great lens and one of the most practical FA Limiteds (at least for me).

Just finished my Junior year in college. Excited for the summer! just picked up a FA43 from a fellow Pentaxian and am very happy with the purchase. So far only subject to shoot is this little guy. http://img218.imageshack.us/i/imgp1496b.jpg/
