Rondec. I hope you enjoyed your visit to WV. Next time you are in town, visit the old Spring Hill Cemetery on the hill overlooking Charleston. An excellent location to use that 77mm you have.

I sure did. It wasn't really a photo trip -- my extended family got together there (sort of central when folks live in Indiana, Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania) and we went to the capitol and walked the Carriage Trail and went to the Clay Center.

Biggest thing about a gathering like that is just seeing cousins reconnecting after not seeing each other for quite awhile.

I hope to go back some time in the future when it is just my wife and kids and me and I can get up early and explore more photographic opportunities. I'll keep the Cemetery in mind.

I haven't had much time to get out birding with my tele's, so I've been making use of the 31, some black acrylic and my pets

Advise me upon your return. We can discuss other photo opportunities in the Whitewater areas of the New River Gorge area. Great family recreation, rafting (depending on children's age) and stunning natural beauty close by in Fayetteville WV.

FA 77. My neighbor's pup. It took a lot of shots before I landed a sharp one.
