I took the new-to-me FA43mm on a holiday trip to Bourgogne (my first FA Ltd, thanks to loveisageless)

Did someone say starburst and FA43 in the same sentence?

PS Sorry for the repost

Well looking forward to really try to get best out of this thing, overal feelings so far. Really can feel film age in pictures. something special going on. If sharpness is what one is after, then this will not be first thing to put on your camera. I have tried LR profile correction and while it corrects distortion and vingetting, it takes some of it's coolness away, but will give straight lines.

Might have to try my own preset for this baby.

couple days with this beauty, just quick shots from daily stuff.
FA 31

It is not all about sharpness. And once stopped down even handheld like here(last one), there is plenty of sharpness. I have just decided that when I throw these limiteds in my bag I just want to enjoy the ride... 31, 43, 77! yai!

Congrats on the triplets! Yer living the dream! I adore the 'Ritz' shot, I love these FA limiteds, hopefully before 2019 is out I will have a FA31 in my hands too, till then I shall bridge that gap by looking at more of your shots, keep 'em coming!

thank you! I’ll keep ’em coming for sure! I’m planning on shoot out between F28, FA35 and this 31. also adding 15-30 to the mix to get modern lens to compare. It will not be pixel peeping shooting. More like overal how does it look and so. I have never enjoyed those 100% crop jadijadijadi reviews. The thing is that I got F28 as poorman 31, FA 35 was for similar reasons. 15-30 is just for having ultrawide fun while being versatile also, but it is really good @30 mm too. Huge compared to any of those 3 lenses. so perhaps at weekend.
