I agree with your comment, but how did you know the lens was the 43? I did not see any EXIF information or other mention of the lens.

Hello fellow Limited owners!
In just got my 43 today, and I have a question about the focus scale.

The lens has a hard stop at infinity, but travels just a little bit past 0.45m

This is an older MIJ version. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or I should be concerned?

Mine, which is 08137 and also silver, stops at the same place as yours.

All screw drive autofocus lenses go slightly past both minimum focus and infinity, if there was a hard stop, the screw drive would crash into the focus limit and cause backlash in the lens. Even some electronic drive lenses continue past infinity as well.

I'm having some focusing issues on another lens so perhaps I'm a bit paranoid now.
