I think that writing `77` was superfluous here...

Agree with that, shows every sign of what my wife calls our magic lens.

My wife calls the 77mm our magic lens, which I appreciate. The only problem is that she has it permanently affixed to her yellow brick, and I can only get it by special request.

I found a black FA 77 Limited at a price i couldn't resist in the marketplace.

it was placed in the mail today

made in Japan

lens, original box, caps and pouch

and the pouch has gold lettering

Serial Number - 0013053

any hints on using it on a ASP-C sensor camera ( K 3 and K 3 II )

The main, really only, regret I have in using the 77 on crop sensor cameras is exaggerated focal length. Using it inside of buildings, I keep backing up until my back touches the wall! Seriously, this lens lends itself to exploration. It can turn mundane everyday scenes into artwork. I would definitely advise seeking out some human models and shooting them wide open--well you know what I mean! Good luck to you as you explore the intricacies and capabilities of one of the world's greatest lenses!

Whilst this is true, the other side of the coin is that you get better reach, that is if you want 24mp vs 16mp (from the K-1 in crop mode). I shoot public speaking events where I regularly enjoy the additional 'zoom';
