Thanks Chex,
It doesn't look too bad but I think I might go black as I can buy a new one cheaper than a second hand silver job.

Nice shots frogfish!

That silver 43mm will look great when I order a silver limited K-5 to match it. Then my wife can have this black one all to herself

That's the ticket!

Because otherwise the silver lens on black body is just about the ugliest thing I have ever seen.

I didn't mind the way my silver FA 77 looked on my K20D but I really like the way it looks on my navy blue K-x. The silver trim makes the two go well together.

Have you seen some of those K-X's colors???? Some of them look like they have already been regurgitated on. I don't mind the silver on black, I just think of it as knowing I have a quality Pentax lens on it. Since only a small handful of lenses common now days are silver (Limited's and the FA 80-200 F2.8 are all I can think of) I have no problem with it. People that don't know Pentax very well might think it looks funny, but if I really cared what other people thought I probably would have followed everyone else and bought a Canikon system.

Actually silver lens on black body looks more like the Canon style of white lens on black body. But hey, I guess I just don't know Pentax very well!
