I like the vintage style. I'd be tempted to pull back the top part of the hazy white framing so that it's not encroaching on her face quite as much.

Thanks, actually the white frame just touch her hair, not her face

He's right, though. Plus, he said encroaching on her face, and it is too close to her face. For this type of vignette, you need to have the face more centered in the frame. Or if that's not possible, you have to create the vignette with a program that allows you to choose the center-point. Otherwise a nice image.

Thanks for your explanation . I've just retouch it with your guides

I'm not a "cat person" but I really like this one.

For me, the reflection on the water makes it. Just enough blur to show the movement of the ripples and relfection to define them.

Hope he/she didn't fall in the pond.

Thanks mate. those reflections are the reason I took that shot though it's a pretty heavy crop from the M9, range finders aren't exactly great at close focusing. At f/2.8 the 43mm f/1.9 provided ample resolution, I rarely use it at widest aperture on the M9.

These are some bold, sharp captures I'm seeing here.
Anyone doubt the 43 ltd isn't a special lens?

it sure is, especially on a Leica M camera.

As we know, every day another thread opens with doubters claiming the DA40 is just as good as the FA43, or the DA70 is just as good as the FA77. I suppose if they can't see the difference they don't know what they are missing!
