Thank you. I've considered it and wanted to do so, but the trails posted were about 45-minute exposures. Any slight breeze would have ruined the foreground (trees) in my opinion. Maybe I'll try it again with an old rusty truck or something that doesn't move.

An Oceanside Ride

I lack the knowledge to use Photoshop at this point, so this is straight from the camera. The B&W was done in camera, and it is a bit over exposed.

I really love how happy she looks in this pic. Might not be the sharpest pic either, but I took it from the saddle of another equine, so I have to take what I can get!

Make no apologies about that shot - it is very good, the composition is subtle and not rule-based, but effective, and it has good perceived-acuity through that nice contrast. The skin tones and the soft gradient in the skin is beautiful. Background is lovely, and works nicely with the subject. I like it a lot, good job.

Thank you for the compliments! It was pure luck - one of 100 that actually turned out. A horse makes a poor shooting platform for sure.
