I like VuXY's shot, too. But where does this compulsion to bare one's teeth when smiling come from? It seems to have spread from Hollywood and is taking over the world. What's wrong with a natural smile? The girl on the right is downright scarey. Middle girl is very close to natural. The boy looks like he's done his best to show his teeth. The mother's smile looks natural. The fact that she's a total babe doesn't hurt

I'm not having a go at you, VuXY. Just reflecting on life. It might be something to think about.

Richard.

Hi All,

just wanted to share a few shots from my recent trip to Berlin. I was accompanied by my K-5/ FA 43 combo. The whole set is here, a few samples below.

The Holocaust memorial. A very intense place - almost 2 hectares of regularly placed concrete blocks with no ornaments. Just the paths. It was a very sunny, very bright day, so I played a bit to give the shots something special.

Thank youf for feedback!

First photowalk in a while - it felt damn good to have a camera bag, and not a school bag on. Pretty typical tri/quad-polar vancouver weather, with lighting, rain, super high wind, and sunshine within about 30 minutes of each other. All taken with the FA43
