That's lens correction distortion in PP, not the lens.

Struggled for quite a while to find this place, though the sky was rather bleh this evening. If I'm brave enough to wake up that early I'll go back there tomorrow before dawn when Rainier will be backlit... FA77:

I really like the angle. I think your right it should help add that extra element with mt Rainier in the background. The reflections of the bridge lights are nice how they diverge from the bridge as it approaches the land.

If it provides any encouragement I really look forward to what you post tomorrow

Alarm is set for 4:15am. That will give me enough time to get something warm in my stomach and catch the series of buses to be there 40 mins before sunrise. Of course, there will be no telling whether the mountain is even visible until it starts to get light out so wish me luck! I may not even make it off the couch, who knows.

If you were like me, you wouldn't even consider it. I should aspire to have even some of the dedication you possess! although that said I have just got a gym membership with the intention of doing it in the early hours... It will probably end up being late afternoon
