Another attempt with a more minimalist style. Perhaps I've taken it too far, but I felt I should go for the Zen feel:
Very nice job there!

Wonderful images in this thread. It's become very clear that my skills need some major work to do these excellent lenses justice. Here are some of my efforts so far.

31mm Ltd

A little overboard on the eye touch up, but I kind of like it.

One of something other than my daughter.

77 Ltd -I don't own this lens, but had the chance to play with one when I met up with another forum member to trade for the 31.
This is the next lens on my list.

Great shots here! I am tempted by a FA31mm but I am a litttle hesitant about the size and weight. I have a DA* 55mm and I find it heavy for taking on a daily walkaround. Can anyone with both lenses share if the FA31mm is smaller less unweildy than the DA* 55mm with hood? Thanks!

The 31mm is barely lighter (1oz), but it is narrower and shorter. The 31 is almost 2in shorter than the 55mm with hood on. I prefer the 31mm for my walk around lens, but that has more to do with the focal length than size or weight. The 31mm does seem quite a bit smaller on camera.

Thanks for the insight ataunton. I love the DA* 55mm but the weight and FL makes it hard to bring along for a holiday. Looks like a silver FA31mm is coming my way in the future! Now to sell that DA35mm macro first...

Thank you. I'm quite enamored with the last pick in your previous post with the cell phone. What kind of PP did you do on that picture?
