This is really nice mike! I personally might crop a bit off the bottom... as I find the bottom has a little too much going on.
that is great feedback, thanks. I will try it.

Thanks Mike!

Nice shot of Diablo. I feel like I recognize that fence from some photos you took last year with the traveling nifty fifty.

Here's one more from tonight. Has more of that 'glowy' christmas feel to it.

she must be very happy with the series. nice work!

Bossa - I've always loved that waterslide photo since I first saw it - it's amazing!

Sage - wow, the truck is great

I've been working with the portrait processes the FA77 likes, trying to get them down. Of course, my kids are the main victims, er, subjects!

This lens continues to blow me away with the rendering. Looks like nothing else....

And a lit snowflake, just for some seasonal flavor. Sort of :P.
Thanks for the nice comment Ecaterin.

I also like tht truck...

But I'm also curious about the snowflake (I've never been to a snowfield etc so I am clueless). Is it a real one?

Wish to join FA Limited Club

Hi all,

I am a new member of the Pentax Forum, and I would like to join the FA Limited Club. How do I go about doing that, as in is there any registration process? I use the FA43 and FA77 lenses. Thank you.

First you must read membership rules. If you think you have the stomach for it, send your membership fee to me. If you are deemed worthy, you will be required to learn the secret handshake and memorize the theme song. A rigorous 90 day orientation is also mandatory.

I joined this club not too long ago by simply posting pics. Come on in, take your coat off and have fun. As far as forum rules, there is a sticky in the welcome and introductions section.

More truck pics.

Experimenting with low key (self-)portraiture using the FA77.

It's exactly what it claims to be.

I'd call that a very successful experiment.

Thanks!

My old little dog has been sleeping more and more this Christmas because of some pain meds that knock her out, but she still got into the fighting spirit when the UPS guy made his annual yuletide pilgrimage to our doorstep. But the delivery guy has been around the block, so to speak, and won her over by leaving us with some treats:

43mm HDR Panorama. I guess I could've used my 21mm but I wanted to justify the purchase of Pano software.

Regular 43mm

Played around with a concept earlier today near my parents' house. Cut it short because it involved a lot of setting the camera to interval shooting, running and climbing over things and getting into position. I like how it came out, but I may give it another whirl tomorrow:

[edit] another take:

Aaaand, my knees are done for the evening...
