Maybe rent both and then decide? I did, and as much as I liked the 31, I really don't shoot at that length much (so got the DA35 instead), so I got the 77, which I love, and which would never leave my camera if I didn't have to shoot indoors sometimes.
Thanks. But where I am you can't even rent a Canikon lens so a Pentax one is certainly out of the question. Just going to have to keep researching. I really think I am leaning towards the FA77 mainly cause I have something already that will suffice.

Just got my 31 on Thursday. Been enjoying it so far. Much wider than what I'm used too. I'm no where near used to getting this close to my subjects, its making me adjust my style quite a bit. Before the shortest I would shoot is in the 50 range. My 77 limited and 50-135 being my two most used lenses. So this is a treat, very different. I can't believe how sharp this thing is....

Anyways, some from the weekend!

Many thanks, I like the FOV which I find quite versatile when strolling the streets, so yes, more is definitely coming

Very interesting approach with that one. Usually the eye is isolated in color and the rest is black and white. Liking it.

Friends came together to welcome the FA 31

I have been wanting to get this lens for the longest time, now it is finally in my possession, I don't have time to shoot.
This is my first shot with the 31, where friends gathered to welcome it to my humble abode.
