you get three cheap 58mm filters, take the glass out of them and screw them together and put them on the FA31. The lee adapter will fit on the extension, though be careful not to use thin metal filter frames - I use high quality brass ones that aren't as inclined to deform under the weight of a heavy glass filter like that.
aha! Something I hadn't thought of. Thanks Digitalis.

Nice LE shot . But how do you mount the lee bigstoper on FA31, Is there an alternative to lee foundation holder?
Thanks guys. disco -- precisely what Digitalis said.

Here's one more from later, taken opportunistically after seeing it just as we were leaving a restaurant and getting ready to head home:

Untitled
FA31

Been using the FA31 a lot the past couple weeks. Honestly didn't expect to, given my general disconnect with that focal range, but this lens might be turning me around.

Thank you. I cleaned it up slightly in post. There were Some obvious Dust bunnies present as I shot at F16.

without getting too much of a diversion from the main thread , I used a 58mm metal Filter adaptor screwed into FA31 which gave me enough offset and 58-62 Step up ring so I can now use the 62 uwa ring adaptor on FA31. believe it or not I had all the bits at my disposal

Yes I noticed the tell-tale cloud streaking and said "hmm, someone is looking at his FA31 in a new way!" ;-)
