Fun picture!

The color forces the connection of the three background flowers and the egg, and establishes contrast between the forks and the background. I'd go color on this one. I'd also recommend a little bit of clockwise rotation to make it level and some cropping on the top (and maybe bottom), the color has eye pull on the top and bottom (not a problem for the B&W version). Just my 2c.

thanks! funnily enough this has blown up on flickr like its been explored or something! all of a sudden my most favorited and viewed photo in one day. also got a message from Getty images that they want to licence a dozen of my shots. crazy day! originally I was only going to use this for a fb cover...
