Very cool shot and well thought out! Love the lighting which makes for the drama!!!
Thank you! When it comes to food photography I usually don't go for the dramatic lighting but felt it was appropriate for what I was trying to achieve in this shot.

Back to using the 31 tonight. Finally got around to attempting an idea I've had for a little over a week. Trying to add some drama and storytelling to a typical food shot.

I especially like the b&w version.

Much appreciated! I feel like I'm really starting to get the hang of processing monochrome images, definitely a step up from where I was this time last year.

This shot is great! Good DOF but sharp where it counts! Nice tonality too!

It's a tough place to bear witness to is Cambodia. I remember crossing at Poi Pet for the first time fourteen years ago and it was the first time I'd ever really seen human tragedy. I remember the homeless children begging and this little girl, must have been no more than four years old standing in the middle of the bridge that forms part of no mans land, all on her own just screaming and crying in the darkness.

To this day that stark memory still as clear as though it was ten minutes ago, brings me tears.

An amazing pic, such stark truth in the eyes of these kids. Well shot.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Cambodia has changed a lot in the past 10-15 year but the rural areas especially still have a long way to go

Thank you! I really enjoy night photography. Pentax cameras seem well suited to it.
