Nice photo. How I wish Singapore has such nice scenery. Only concrete jungles here.

FA 31mm Limited on a K3 with a Prophoto B1 providing fill light. My favorite shot of the day during a networking meet for local photographers and models.

Lovely model!

What did you use for lighting? Flash, reflector, LED?

thanks!

I used a strobe. Specifically: B1 Off-Camera Flash

Not mine. I wish it was mine... I so badly wish I owned one of these after using one today. No modifier, just the frosted glass front.

Incredible light, makes everything else I've used look like a cheapo entry flash gun. I guess thats why it's $2700 with the trigger...

First day out with 43

Some interesting images from my first day out with the 43. Much better at close up than I expected. Sharpness seems to combined with something interesting with the light. I have much to learn about this baby. All photos except the HDR are straight out of the camera with no PP. (First image)

I would best interested in any comments related to DOF or other attributes of this lens you have learnt from it's use.

Well damn! Those B1s are some seriously high end lights. I've watched some videos on them and they are crazy strong when they need to be.

Love the shot of the leaves (5th from top). Superb contrast in the veins of the leaves, beautiful rendering overall and wonderful colour.

Thanks, it seems the combination of lighting and the bokah effects are one of the things that make this lens interesting. The sunset (although nothing special) was really warmed up by the lens versus "the reality" there was a stunning sunset the prior evening, so I need to keep returning till I find another one to see how the 43 does with that. Some of the pictures which a lot of color and contrast in them seem to get "overwhelmed" by what the lens does. I think this will lead me to some interesting places from a composition perspective.
