Some shots from the past weekend with the K-3 and 77. Single strobe with RoundFlash setup to the left of the model.

@mr.b.snowden

I like the second shoot best. I think it is really good.

Still I see very visible purple fringing on the hand that is for me a key part of the picture... I tried to correct it in DxO, it required some heavy setting but it worked.

Also I have the feeling the face color is a bit too saturated maybe? Maybe the model is like that in reality, I realise it already look better to me with dark background on flickr as opposed to white one in Pentax Forum. Still it seems to look better to me less saturated overall... It doesn't prevent the dress to have punchy colors. But maybe it is just my screen settings ?

Just got my FA77 back after over a year. It had a stuck focus ring and I couldnt get it repaired locally. I ended up sending it around the world via fam/friends to the legendary Eric to fix and clean the lens. It always needed a +10 adjustment on my K-5 but came back nearly dead on (I suspect it still needs a small adjustment). Took it out shooting at some local markets yesterday, what a lens...I mean I have used it before, but the rendering and bokeh are just sublime. I just need to figure out how to use it now
