I like usingmy 43 too but this is the first time I have heard of the 43 limited being called underrated!

On APSC, I find it a bit too near to FA31 to justify having both. I don't like to have many lenses in the bag. The FA43 is also known to be a bit more temperamental in its rendering. It bokeh is more aggressive too. But as I understand it is also the one that will shine the most if you use it well.

Yes, everything lives in the shadow of the 31 and 77! I like my 43 very much. It has just that little extra reach over the 31 that makes me go for it rather often instead of the shorter FA.

Funny you say that. I meant to bring my 77 that day but made a mistake and picked up the 43. Oh well.
