I picked up the FA 77mm with the idea to learn portraiture. What I did not expect was unexpectedly good for flowers et al at minimum focal distance. Same soft glow fine detail in a different context. A few shots:

I do believe Kernos is on to something. The 77 is not my normal flower lens; I have become fond of the 645 120mm macro either native on 645D or adapted to K-1. The K-1 with 77 definitely offers some special rendering,and here are a few samples to go along with Kernos' beauties.
