A hair stylist and make up artist who happen to be friends of mine wanted to expand their portfolio.

Since I was on an unstable ladder in crappy weather (gusts of random wind and rain clouds looming overhead) I decided to slap on the 77 instead of my trusty 85 since I thought it would give me a little more leeway for the composition and so I wouldn't have to get too high on the ladder. The bokeh isn't quite as smooth or as pleasing to my eye as the 85 but still a nice rendering that I am happy with.

I love the 77. I don't think there's a better portrait lens that is that small for under $1000 with AF but there's no denying for me that the 85 is just better in almost every way except maybe weight.
