I used to do the same as a kid, loved licking the remains of the mixture from the bowl hehe.

Nowadays the health nazis are warning against letting kids lick the cake and cookie bowls because of the raw eggs, but if there was much validity to that warning I would have been dead half a dozen times before I was six years old.

Having lived on a farm for 56 years and still using raw milk from a family cow and eggs from the coop as well as putting manure on the garden, having all the exposure to bacteria is better for the immune system than growing up in a sterile society. I think you can carry on.

It was likely egg free as we're kinda vegans (I say kinda because sometimes the odd egg is still used when egg replacements are not possible)
