thank you! I’ll keep ’em coming for sure! I’m planning on shoot out between F28, FA35 and this 31. also adding 15-30 to the mix to get modern lens to compare. It will not be pixel peeping shooting. More like overal how does it look and so. I have never enjoyed those 100% crop jadijadijadi reviews. The thing is that I got F28 as poorman 31, FA 35 was for similar reasons. 15-30 is just for having ultrawide fun while being versatile also, but it is really good @30 mm too. Huge compared to any of those 3 lenses. so perhaps at weekend.
I would be real interested to see some comparisons. Been close to getting a FA35 or F28 just for those exact reasons (poor man's 31).

I'll do when I get some time. Here is one more from last time, one thing that drove me to FA 31. to get sharp detail even if my subject is at edge and wide open. This is something that F28 can't do, and FA 35 has some problems too.

Well it will be a lot of picture spamming from me...sorry already, but I'm in honeymoon phase...it will pass.

couple from today, mostly @1,8 and it is quite good, somethign in lines what I thought it would be. Ofcourse more modern lenses are sharper, but that is just one thing. Not much PP done at these. I did use profile correction(LR) in most of them thou.

and

oh and when I do that comparing thingy next weekend propably, I wont post pictures here, I just make a folder in Flickr and put link here, so those who are interested can have a look. Already, I think that I know which one is the winner, but you never know until you try.

I did, and that is one of reasons why I bought one when I saw it at shop. It was in discount(they wanted to get rid old stuff), I'll propably go back there and get couple more. It was fun to put that together.

Thanks repaap! Enjoy your 31! As I think you are discovering, it is really something special. I too used to have the F28 but there really is no comparison

Thank you! I actually haven't even taken my F28 out yet and I know that. But I will still do it for fun

So, I did some comparision. I kind a know strenghts and weakness of those 35 and 28, but not yet this FA 31(I have read at here PF but if is different thing to look/try at it your self).
I have folder in Flickr now. nothing intersting, really. Dunno how much one can see, but to me it is quite obvious( I have fullsize versions) but somethings you can see immediatelly. Now is that enough for the prize difference? IMHO yes. But for some it might not be. Matter of taste. On top of that you pay 300€ just for sexyness of it..
(sorry picture taken with FA 35)

This^ picture will take you to that folder also..

That said, I still have some work to do to tame this thing(drama queen, as I have been told)..

Couple from yesterday and today

And one with FA 77

sorry for picture overflow! It will cool down, I promise.

The 77 never ceased to amaze me with its results, and now that I have a full-frame camera, its magic continues with even more pixels.

Couple more with FA 31. I have stopped making tests. No need for that.
