I think lens profile correcting can be very worthwhile in certain genres like Urban/Architectural, where you want distortion minimised and straight lines and perhaps no vignetting as much as possible. Personally I don't do much shooting like that, but when I do I have tended to use it. You can see the shot getting 'flattened' out and it suits this subject matter more.
Yes, for architectural work, etc. I agree, and if you use the level indicators in the K-1 viewfinder, I think it probably helps prevent more problems than any amount of PP correction will solve after the fact.

I use profiles and Upright for Real Estate and Architecture but not much else unless the distortion is extreme.
Well for this kind a shots lines needs to be straight and shot leveled straight. Also Special lenses would be good, if you want to do it right. Other than that for some other lenses I tend to do profile correction more, like DA*55, or DFA 15-30. Do not feel like want to do that with limiteds..

Yes I don't often use lens profile correction unless I am looking for an 'unartistical' shot, something far more accurate. More often than not I render with film presets that drive the distortion and vignetting even more

By the way, just wanted to say, I'm loving your portrait work, the slanty thing is really working for me!
Thanks Bruce! Glad you like them! I am always too self-critical I drive myself crazy

Scotland's national fizzy pop drink, the ONLY drink in the world to outsell Coca-Cola (including bar trade), or at least it once was (not sure if still is).
Hard to describe it's flavour, certainly it is not healthy, the dentists call it 'The Devil's Mouthwash'!
Happy Burn's Night!

Clynelish 14

Not had this bottle before, a first for me and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. A hybrid of sorts with both sweetness and smokey in the one dram. I really haven't had a whisky that tried to combine those two elements, it was either one or the other. I have to say it I quite like it, seems to work well (but then I'm very easily pleased).

You haven't tried a Highland Park before? I think a 16yo Lagavulin would fit your bill as well as a Laphroaig Quarter Cask. I'd love to see pictures of those in your Glencairn as well.

Yeah it's been awhile since I've tasked Highland Park, any specific version you think I should aim for next? I've tried a few drams in my time, I don't always manage to snap them all but here's a couple worthy mentions.

WARNING DISCLOSURE

Balvenie Doublewood 12yr (sampled only, never bought)
