K1+FA43 @ F1.9 no dodging/burning, just RNI, temperature ++, texture +, shadows +++++++++, blacks +, exposure +, genuine vignetting

FA43 on the X-T20. I had to crop it tiny bit to make the most of the composition. RNI+the agfacolor 40s. I miss the 43 on a crop sensor :/ Manual focusing on Fuji's EVF is a pleasure, Pentax better get out the hybrid stuff.

Nice shot.

What do you miss about the 43 on crop? I have a KP but find the 43 is better on K-1. I have never used an EVF so I don't know what I'm missing but yeah there does seem to be some kind of OVF/EVF Hybrid patent thing going on with them isn't there?

A couple of FA77 and 43 shots from a public speaking event I cover. Public speaking is the worst, no flash, completely at mercy of the venue lighting and when the speaker uses a projector (typically always) it's just shooting into blackness! I try to keep ISO down to under 3200 but that means a lot of spam as I'm relying on low shutter speeds working well with that moment and the speakers movements/pauses.
