With the HD Pentax-FA 31 limited, on my K-70. This lens is almost a macro! Not sure how to add tags to this picture.

The FA77 is perfect for spring. OK, it's great for summer, too. And fall, and winter. But it's spring now, so...

No arguments here, that is a happy pack of pups. You would think it impossible to get an active pup in focus with an old tech screw drive lens, with all the hype and obsession over new tech, heh.
Looks like it was an awesome spring day for the 77 to me, great pics. FWIW, my FA77 is way faster than my DFA100 Macro, heh, so there is that.

No doubt the lens helps with that, along with the light.

I would call that a successful effort. You did well, have a very photogenic subject, and the 77 always delivers.

This is wide open on my smc 31/f1.8 which I like very much. I like it on my K-1 and also on the KP where it tightens up the fov but not so much that it's like the 35 macro - stellar but a touch tight at times...
