And speaking of which, I happened to have the FA77 on my camera when this little guy popped by. Heavily cropped but still lots of detail.

Nice one

is the mouse a field mouse and are they a pest indoors as well?

He seems quite solid compared to what we have here in Aust.

I believe it is a House Mouse as the fur was grey-brown all over, unlike the more common Wood Mouse. (So says my copy of Complete Irish Wildlife.) Common or not, I have never seen a mouse in Ireland until this one! They are generally nocturnal and timid, but this one acted almost domesticated.
