My first macro attempt for about 15 years, so be gentle please.
Tamron 35-80 SP f2.8-3.8 on a PKA adaptor. Pentax K-x.
100% crop.
Looks like I have a bit of dust on my sensor.

I think I have more dust on my computer monitor than you have on your sensor!! So I better clean it before working on any photo's.

Help - Urgent ... a 52BB with fungus

Bonjour,

I need help. I have the chance to purchase a good looking 500/8, but the seller just sent me a photo showing fungus inside the front element ...

Here's the original ad : TAMRON 500

Here's the image of the front element :

Has anyone taken apart a 52BB to clean, etc? ... do you think that this is worth the risk for 90€ ?

Thanks in advance for any input ... Salut, J

55B fungus clean

Well Jean looks to me like a lens spanner should take the objective out, its a single lens with the secondary mirror on its back., and not particularly large, 82mm filter. But IMO this amount of fungus is safely and ? best ignored rather than messing with the lens

I have read somewhere that the tolerances on these are particularly fine, I think I would carefully mark the exact orientation of it...

90euro for the lens is par, ? with 01F and nikon mount = a good deal by UK ebay prices.

salut

Thanks marcusBMG,

It's 90€ delivered to my door and maybe I can take the risk that the fungus will not effect IQ, etc... Kind of a roll of the dice here.

It's also a "200F" 2x TC and not a 01F ... so all the better.

Thanks again for your input ... Salut, J

200F !!! miscreant! thats worth more than the lens you are an imbecile if you don't click BIN

Actually with orig box etc I would say £80-130 on ebay UK, and in fact I have seen mint examples go for as much as 190

bonne chance a vous
