Thank you. It is nice and unexpected to receive such a comment given how long I have been photographing. How do you find the detail on the mirror lens on large images? I have been toying with the idea of getting one for the extra reach but read that they weren't quite as sharp as standard lenses.

Great shot catching the Bird like that. Always makes for a more interesting image when the subject is in the process of doing something.

for me, I know the mirror lens works best on a tripod, no matter what I'm shooting; I can shoot with it hand-held, but I simply get better shots with that focal length on a tripod...
